On behalf of the entire Housing and Residence life staff, welcome to Saint Louis University!
Housing and Residence Life is committed to providing opportunities that further enhance your university experience and contribute to your learning and development as men and women for others.
National research shows that students who live on campus perform better academically and graduate earlier than their off campus counterparts, so it is up to each student to take full advantage of this amazing opportunity. Living on campus will provide you with many new freedoms and personal choices, an experience in which you will meet student from across the country and around the globe, develop life-long friendships, and establish a connection to our diverse campus life.
There are many ways in which students are encouraged to get involved within each residential community. This can occur by becoming involved in the various activities and opportunities to learn and grow in your community, through leadership opportunities such as becoming a member of your Hall Council and RHA or through student employment opportunities available in the residence halls and apartments. Various activities, staff and hall sponsored events, community service and leadership opportunities are all excellent ways to become actively engaged in your experience.
If I can assist you in any way please let me know. Again, on behalf of the Department of Housing and Residence Life; welcome to the Saint Louis University family. My staff and I look forward to joining on your journey.
